Charging
Simple, flexible, and built for real boating
Wia yachts are designed to charge anywhere — no special infrastructure, no dedicated marine charging station required. Every boat carries its own onboard charger and smart charging controller, so you can plug in at virtually any marina with a standard shore power connection (230V AC).Your home port's available power becomes your charging capacity: we calibrate the system to match whatever current the dock provides, so charging fits the marina you're already in rather than the other way around.

Optimized for real-world conditions
Charging performance depends on the power available at the marina. On a typical dayboat setup with two 16A shore connections, a full charge usually takes around 10–12 hours — so after a full day on the water, your Wia recharges overnight and is ready again by morning. In practice, most cruising never drains the full battery, so you rarely charge from empty. Even a few hours at the dock recovers most of a day's use — a quick top-up over lunch or between outings is often all it takes.

Everything you need, already on board
Every Wia comes with the cables, shore power connectors and data interfaces it needs to plug in anywhere — no extra kit to source, no proprietary charging point to install. You're never tied to a single marina or a single brand's network. Charge freely, wherever life on the water takes you.
Battery health and longevity
The charging system continuously monitors cell temperature, voltage balance and charging speed to protect long-term battery health. Thermal management adjusts automatically to summer heat and cooler spring and autumn conditions, holding performance stable and reliable across many seasons. The result is a battery that ages slowly and predictably — so the range you rely on today is still there years from now.
Remote monitoring, wherever you are
Track the entire charging process in real time — from the helm display or the mobile app. Whether you're at home or still on shore, you see charge status, estimated completion time and the state of the shore power connection at a glance. Your boat keeps you informed, so you're always ready to head out with confidence.
